attended for ultrasound examination of my Mum. for DVT, a mishap with appointment but treated with kindness and attention by the receptionist and the lady who did the ultrasound. The attention to our care was second to none, the appointment was sorted and my

Mum had her ultra sound. There is so often many complaints but

I was deeply impressed with the attention we received and cannot thank those ladies enough. Sorry it has taken so long to contact you.

I have put the dept. we visited as Diagnostic imaging, don't know if this is correct, but Radiology was not listed.

The Trust works hard to provide a high standard of care for all patients, underpinned by values in treatment of kindness, compassion, dignity and respect, and we are pleased to read this was the experience your mum (and you) had. For some of our patients, attending hospital for scans can be a nervous occasion and we very much hope that the kindness shown by staff, particularly given the mishap you mention with her appointment, gave your mum confidence in the service. We also hope the results of her ultrasound have been helpful in identifying any further care or treatment she requires, or given her the assurances she was seeking.
