"Urology Service for Prostate Cancer"

I would like to say how grateful I am for the NHS and the excellent care given to me by Mr Turner, Mr Wedderburn, urology nurses, oncology and day threatre staff.

I work for the NHS so I had an idea of what to expect.

Throughout my journey from diagnoses to treatment and 2 weeks post operative, I have been delighted with the care I have received.  All but one person introduced themselves by name. Everyone has treated me with respect and as an individual.  The domestic on my ward was cheerful and so kind to the more ill and elderly on the ward.  My diagnoses was explained and questions answered.  

So thank you again to all

Thank you for sharing your treatment journey with us and we are pleased to hear the whole process has flowed smoothly and you feel you were well informed and cared for by all the staff looking after you.

As a Trust we are striving hard to instil the #hellomynameis values with all our staff and I am sorry to hear that one individual did not embrace this as we feel that an introduction is a cornerstone in achieving great care.

Thank you for noting that all other staff treated you with care and respect, explaining your diagnosis and answering your questions.
