"Total Replacement of Left Hip on 5th Septembe"

About: Colchester General Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

Thank you to all concerned. It has been a long time since I have had to go to hospital for any length of time. My experience this time as then was memorable. Nursing staff dealt with my feeling of acute discomfort after being transferred back to Copford Ward from Recovery with waves of tension in my belly developing perhaps associated with the anaesthetic wearing off and my having taken a few sips of tasty vegetable soup. Apart from this hiatus everything appeared to go smoothly from start to finish, the operating team was top notch and aftercare excellent, acknowledging and advising following my move from Essex to Canterbury.

Thank you for leaving your kind words, I will make sure they are passed onto the appropriate teams. I hope you are continuing to make swift recovery. Many thanks
