My appointment at the ‘Snowdrop’’ section of Deansley Ward on 13th September last week was the first of my Chemotherapy cycles involving a 1 hour infusion followed by two weeks of tablets, then a one week break before the second cycle commenced.
Unfortunately there were only three out of the normal eight nurses available, in attendance, which enivetably caused us to experience a two and three quarter hour wait.
The team that were present continued with their tasks admirably and professionally to the last, with great patience an diligence and I can only praise them very highly for making my first treatment as reassuring as I could have hoped. So full credit and thanks for them for sticking with it so vigilantly
A sandwich with tea/coffee were handed out during the wait which was very welcome
So XXXXX’s for this tea ‘small’ team who I hope will have this review passed to them.
Regards
"Overall performance"
