"Booking appointment hassle"

I had a cough and hoarse voice for four days at the start of this month.. After a phone consultation I was given a prescription for amoxicillin which did not completely get rid of the bug. I spent all day yesterday and all last night coughing. I've had sinus discomfort since Wednesday. I've just spent an hour trying to phone the surgery to get an appointment but when I did get through I'm told that I will have another phone consultation as there are no appointments. There are no appointments on line for the next fortnight either. This new system is not working at all.
