My father was told in August that he need to have a biopsy,he attended for the procedure, was gowned up ready for the procedure and kept waiting for 20 minutes when the doctor came to see him, he was told that he wouldn’t do the biopsy because of heart condition and was on Aspirin, the doctor then asked to see myself and my father in his consulting room, where he tried to explain what was going to happen but we were unable to take it in at the time because of the shock of what had just taken place, the letter to cover this visit arrived 5 weeks after, only then when my GP wrote to them, the letter did not contain correct facts as we were told at the time.
