"Superb!"

Today I am 2 days post op having waited nearly 8 months for my Gynaecology operation. A long time!

As a nurse myself, it was very strange being on the ‘other side’ . I don’t often write reviews but in this case I feel compelled to praise my NHS colleagues for their outstanding care and professionalism throughout my short stay on F14. Everyone I encountered from Ward Clerk , theatre porters, recovery nurses,ward nurses, surgeon and anaesthetist were fantastic. It was my first operation and I felt truly safe and involved every step of the way. Everything was double and triple checked and there was also some well needed humour along the way to ease my anxietiy.

Both the anaesthetist and surgeon came to check on me the following day post op to see how I was and tell me how things went.
