"Having a mastectomy"

About: St Michael's Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I was admitted to St Michaels in Hayle, Cornwall to have a mastectomy. All I wanted to say was how kind, caring and efficient all of the staff were towards me. They put my mind at ease so that I was relaxed and happy before the procedure and once I was back on the ward the staff were very kind and attentive. I was well enough to leave the hospital in the evening, knowing that I had the district nurses on hand.

Would like to thank them all for their kindness.
