"Very poor experience"

About: Jubilee Medical Centre

I recently switched to Jubilee Medical Centre from another practice. On my first visit to this practice, I had a terrible experience. I have mental health problems and a relative made the appointment for me over the phone. I was given an appointment for a specific date and time. I was in the room with my relative while the appointment was made. When I arrived at the practice for my appointment, the receptionist had no record of my appointment. She was suggesting that I make another appointment and come back in a few days. I was with a relative, and they had to argue with the receptionist until eventually another staff member arrived and confirmed that I already had an appointment. I ended up waiting for almost 2 hours to see a GP. I was already stressed about going to the appointment, and the experience I had made it significantly worse for me. I also found the practice to be quite scruffy inside. The carpet in the waiting area was filthy. I have only been once and I will not be returning. I submitted a written complaint to the practice manager but did not receive a response to the complaint. My old practice had its issues occasionally, but it was significantly better than Jubilee. I would not recommend this practice.
