I arrived at the centre at approximately 19:20 on Thursday 13th September. I was having difficulty swallowing and talking. I was met by a very nice receptionist who took my details and I was called through within minutes of arriving. I was seen by senior nurse practitioner who was very thorough and after the initial examination she advised she would be calling an ambulance to take me to hospital She gave me a shot of adrenaline and antihistamine. The ambulance arrived very quickly and after a few checks I was taken with my wife to A&E at Burton Hospital
I am at home now after being discharged at approximately 02:30 14th September
Please pass on my thanks to both the receptionist (Sorry I didn't catch her name) and to the nurse for such a speedy, professional and reassuring service.
Thanks
Alan Ratcliffe ( Martin)
