I was admitted to the day unit for a tooth removal under general anaesthetic. I'm a complicated case with a lot of underlying conditions. The team were compassionate and thorough. Every risk was identified and addressed. The team were really friendly right from the receptionist to the nurse who held my hand when I cried in theatre. My after care was gentle and done at a pace I could cope with. There was no rush to get me out of the door. I was given pain relief very soon after requesting it and sent home with adequate dressings for my wound. One of the nurses kindly wheeled me to the hospital main entrance when I explained my mobility limitations. The whole department is exemplary.
