"My dad"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Palliative Care

(as a parent/guardian),

My dad was admitted to ward 52 at the Langland Unit Queen Elizabeth during his stay his health deteriorated.   At this point I was contacted to discuss the situation and resulted in Palliative care.   During my fathers stay in the ward 52 the staff were amazing they treated him dignity and were very supportive to us as a family at such a difficult time.   My father had suffered a brain injury and at times his behaviour was very challenging no matter how difficult the situation was they had the knowledge and understanding to work round this.   From Consultant to Health Care assistant they are a credit to NHS
