"Children's Ward & Orthopedic Surgery"

About: Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust

We arrived on the Children's Ward at 10 o'clock at night having been referred by the A&E department at Epsom Hospital as our 13 year old son required surgery on a broken arm. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left 2 days later we were treated with kindness and respect by all the staff we dealt with.

We were quickly and efficiently settled onto the ward. Procedures and treatment were fully explained and queries answered. The medical staff included my son when explaining procedures etc after first checking that he/we wanted him to be included which we both appreciated as this gave him reassurance.

We only had positive experiences from all the medical staff and also all the support staff.
