Can never get appointment to see GP. However they do like a phone consult, I waited 2weeks for mine and it never happened on 7th August 2018.....I have a hiatus hernia, have had all tests and been told by hospital surgeon yes it needs surgery...However my GP needs to arrange this for me.......I am on a soup diet now as cannot keep solid food down, the upside i have dropped 2 dress sizes, but will soon look anarexic.

Currently looking for new surgery, I used to be at Drayton road surgery they we're amazing . My dad is at Cobham surgery always gets an appointment. I recommend when moving to a new area and having to change surgeries look at the reviews.......

I am sorry to read you have been unable to get a GP appointment. We offer many appointments with our extended team of degree-trained paramedics, nurses and specialists to care for patients, allowing GPs to focus their time with patients who have very complex needs. As you correctly mention telephone consultations are popular, as many needs can be met via this method. I am sorry you did not receive a call back from the GP as scheduled. This is highly irregular and needs investigating as to why not. Please contact any of our site managers, allowing us to look into this for you and to ensure you receive the necessary treatment speedily, if you have not done so already.

One of our more recent service additions has been to introduce e-consultations, available from our website, which allows you to pass messages and ask advice from your GP for all non-urgent / routine matters. This will allow access for many patients at a time to suit them.
