About: General practices in Lanarkshire

(as the patient),

I was contacted to arrange an appointment with the practice nurse regarding medical for my condition. This comprised a full check, including specimen I brought in. Then I was given a comprehensive printed leaflet containing all the results of my medical. I have been member of the LOGAN practice since my birth, and I have always been  appreciate of the care & understanding I have been shown. We are so lucky in UK to have a unique service like the NHS..

Thanks for your response, I feel strongly about the way NHS is taken for granted, & the way it is often criticised by some people. Of course it isn't perfect, they are working under immense pressure, & have to operate with the funds allocated to them. I can still remember my parents telling me the complete disbelief they had concerning the full range of free services that people were being allowed, to the people of UK especially as the country had been through 6 years of warfare, & was in the grip of severe rationing. It was a godsend then & should still be regarded as such.
