"My visit today"

I haven’t had to go to the doctors in a while, but have been felling unwell with a sore throat, cough and loss of voice. I drove to the doctors as I can’t speak on the phone to see if I could get an appointment. The surgery has been refurbished and looks more up to date and clean, the receptionist was very helpful and booked me in with an appointment for the same day at 4.30pm. Great service.

I saw a Dr, who as ever was very welcoming and she asked how i was, I explained as best I could through my very husky voice the problem. After the Dr examined me and explained what was wrong with me, she asked how i was in general as she knows i have an on going medical condition. It didn’t feel like i was being rushed and i was really happy with the appointment today.

I have been a patient at Jenner House for over 30 years , and I know they have faced difficult times with doctors leaving, but i really felt today that the service and general feel of the surgery was back to the old Jenner, but with a new look.

I would recommend this surgery, i experienced a great NHS service/appointment today.
