My Mum had a second cataract operation at Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline yesterday. Despite just moving to a new temporary home and their first day of operation in a new clinical area (due to building works being carried out at the existing Cataract Unit), all of the staff worked very hard as a team to deliver a first class service to all patients including to my Mum. All were efficient and courteous and my Mum left after her operation feeling very well cared for and looked after.
On returning home we were called by the Primary Care District Nursing service to establish the after care being delivered to Mum. NHS Fife should be truly proud of what is an excellent service delivered by first class clinical and administrative staff who clearly have a strong team ethos. Well Done!
"An excellent service delivered by first class staff"
