My husband has had health problems which were ignored by another hospital (being dealt with) and came to QA via A&E after a fall.
At last someone is sorting out my husband's health problems.
The staff are very good. They need more staff on both the wards he has been on, so they never seem to stop working.
One minor point, he has continence issues and liquid on the floor was left to dry. The agency nurse told me Carillon would clear it up!
Since then any problems have been dealt with by the nurses and healthcare staff.
Main reason for this post. The North entrance was closed on 11th September as a pane of glass had fallen from the porch and smashed a couple of days before. Now part of the main entrance is also closed off.
I do understand that it is a dangerous situation, but please, any news on the repairs?
As an elderly arthritic the walk takes time and energy I can ill afford. OK I'm a wimp! But I've met many people in the same situation.
No I can't come by bus, 2 long bus trips and none in the evenings is not viable long term.
Thanks anyway for your care for the patient.
Department was D wards, medical care, can't see what it should come under but its a long walk to the lift.
"lovely hospital - north entrance closure..."
