"Sainsbury Wing"

About: Northwick Park Hospital / Cardiology

When visiting my husband in the private wing I found we could not use the day room as they were using it for staff training.

A very rude person told us they had "booked" it.

I don't find this acceptable when you're paying thousands a night.

I've also found that there is a lack of contact between the doctors and family members.

When asked to call they haven't and have failed to keep us up to date with what is happening.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am sorry to hear of this. Of course you should be able to access the day room whilst visiting your husband. Please accept my apologies that you were spoken to in this way. I will pass on your feedback to the team on Sainsbury wing, they will be disappointed to hear it.

Unfortunately I cannot identify you from your post, therefore cannot ask the team to get in contact to discuss your husband's progress. If you would like us to follow this up on your behalf, please contact the PALS team on 0208 869 5118 or LNWH-tr.PALS@nhs.net

Kind regards,

Anjali Patel

Patient Experience Manager
