"A & E admittance"

About: Royal Albert Edward Infirmary / Accident and emergency

My mum was taken from her nursing home to the hospital by ambulance as an emergency and stayed 4 nights - throughout her stay we were immensely impressed by all departments and staff from the ambulance staff through to the ward cleaners.

She was initially admitted to Orrell Ward then onwards to Swinley Ward.

She was shown great care and respect throughout her stay, treated with kindness and dignity and was funnily a little sad to leave.

The food was great too - which was pleased about!

Thank you and well done to all staff involved - mum had always dreaded going into hospital now she longer does.

Thank you for taking the time to let us have your feedback on the treatment and care provided to your mother throughout her patient journey. I will ensure that this is shared with the A&E team and the wards mentioned. Please pass on our best wishes to your mum for her continued recovery.

Kind regards
