I phoned the mental health team 14 times over 15 days begging for help. In the end my final call when I was extremely distressed after being up all night looking at a cocktail of pills in front of me I was told "nothing we can do" I told the nurse I was suicidal and had all these pills and was desperate, "nothing we can do". Absolutely disgusting service and is it any wonder that a small town St Helens like St Helens is up near top of list for suicides in the whole of the UK.
Other reviews here are so similar, there is a major problem with mental health care here in my opinion.
I am very very lucky that I searched and found help via a charitable organisation because I was in a bad place and was desperate for help. Thankfully I am now in a much better place and my mental state is now stable.
"Any wonder St Helens is becoming suicide..."
