I went for a Breast Screening today.
From beginning to end a very positive experience. Really lovely receptionists when I kept going down the wrong corridors. All staff I had encounters with were friendly and smiley and helpful.
The lady herself who carried out the procedure was sweetness itself. I could tell she was incredibly well practised and, although it is not the most pleasant of scans, she made it quite bearable. The whole thing took about fifteen minutes.
Afterwards I went to the canteen and asked for baked beans and mash. Even the lady serving there was lovely, she kept piling on the beans for me, she must have thought I needed feeding up.
Smiles down the corridors from staff walking past.
A very pleasant visit.
Shame about the half-finished parts of the building and the dangerous carpark. I could find no walkway so ended up walking where cars drove, not safe but at least I could be put back together very quickly if I was hit by a car!
Very odd car park!
"The lovliest staff...."
