Absolutely appalling, from top to bottom.
Incapable of simple tasks like booking two appointments for a diabetic blood check, culminating in wasting the nurse's time, and mine.
Attempted to register for online access for appts, scripts etc, 3 times the staff were hopelessly unhelpful, and they took 3 weeks to admit they had actually lost my registration including a photocopy of my passport - hardly a ringing endorsement of their ability to keep patients' data secure.
The last time I actually managed to get an appointment with a GP, the doctor phoned in person to cancel it, tell me it wasn't necessary, and when I questioned this he informed me if I didn't like the treatment I was receiving I could go and register elsewhere. What a 'bedside manner'!
Petty arguments between the doctor here and the psychiatrist have left me with repeated periods of no medication and having to fight to get prescriptions.
Have they even heard of the Medication-Related Consultation Framework?
Patients should not be left feeling like they are an inconvenience to medical professionals, and should not be treated as if they are ignorant. Clarendon Park Medical Centre are very good at making this patient feel both, from the moment I arrive at the reception area to several days later
