"Throat/Chin perforation."

After a nasty accident involving a gate top lacerating my chin into my mouth I was seen at Darenth by a trauma team and then checked out by the ENT consultant attending the clinic that day. The consultant was excellent in his diagnosis and pleasant and reassuring in the way he dealt with me. I was transferred to the ENT ward at Medway and spent a week after surgery being looked after and informed of the progress every day. The surgeon and staff operating were excellent the ongoing ENT visits to the ward aided in myself feeling cared for and informed. The ward staff were fantastic pleasant friendly and made everyone feel special.
