"A nightmare that never seemed to end. Thank heaven..."

About: Southend Hospital

What I liked

Getting out of there!

What could be improved

Some staff were more interested in going for a fag at the 'back gate' than worrying about patients.

Staff attitude was short and sharp

I felt isolated and a bit of nuisance, nobody really explaining what was going on.

Clinical procedures always appear to interrupt meal breaks and as the food cannot be reheated, you go without!

Nobody asks the patent if they want medical students present, they appears like grinding plebs in their hundreds, scruffy and childlike in their supposed new role as something called a 'doctor'!

I have transferred my care to another local hospital and am delighted with the care and treatment I receive.

Anything else?

Staff including doctors need to do some 'customer care' training!
