Had to wait 3 weeks to see a doctor when I thought I had a foreign body living inside me. To not be fully assessed and referred back to a clinic I’ve already been too. Where I’ve already been informed there’s nothing they can do. The doctors don’t have enough time for the patients here and it appears your just an inconvenience to the surgery if you phone. If it was an emergency I would be at A&E not phoning the drs. I’ve had on going stomach problems for the past 5 years and was informed on my last visit and I quote... “there may never be a diagnosis and you may just have to live with it”... then why are you a dr may I ask? Or do further tests.... there’s always a solution.

Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry to hear that you have not been happy with the care provided at the surgery. We offer 15 minute consultations to our patients which allow our GP’s more time to discuss issues. All of our doctors are fully qualified and experienced GPs. Occasionally, medical symptoms are outside of their expertise as GPs and patients will require referral to specialists for investigations and advice on further management. We are sorry the specialists have not been able to resolve your symptoms. We would like to reassure you that Riverside Surgery is here to help you in any way it can, however, if you no longer wish to receive care from our surgery, you are free to register at another practice of your choice.
