About: Musgrove Park Hospital (Taunton)

We attended A&E with our daughter who had difficulty breathing. We were taken straight through to resus and seen by paeds consultant within 20 min of arrival. Assessment and treatment followed in a timely fashion before being admitted to the ward. Every single staff member we met was professional, caring and courteous despite a very busy A&E department. We were kept informed throughout and involved in decisions. We were given a place to rest while we sat with her through the night. The buildings were shabby but the ward was spotlessly clean. We had the NHS at it’s best- dedicated staff working in impossible conditions but managing to deliver gold standard care for those who need it when they need it. Thank you all so much for the hard work and commitment. You are valued.
