My daughter was brought into paeds accident on emergency on Wednesday the 5th of September with a rash that she had had for a couple of days that was non-blanching at points. The emergency staff were very thorough and the registrar that was on duty that night was extremely knowledgeable and reassuring. She was sent home but unfortunately her condition took a turn for the worse and she was blue lighted back into to resus. The staff (including the same registrar) that welcomed myself and my daughter from the moment we arrived we absolutely fantastic. She had suffered a reaction to a virus that she had and her face had completely swollen up. We were reassured numerous times that she was poorly but in no life threatening danger and her care was the best that we could have hoped for. We were transferred to a ward where again, she received excellent care. The nursing staff were excellent with her and the registrar ensured she had continuity of care. I cant praise the staff enough for the care that my daughter received and I would recommend this hospital to anyone.
"Fantastic staff."
