Hello Kimbo 12, thank you for taking the time to post a comment on the website. Feedback from people who use services in St Helens is very important and helps us to make further improvements, so they are always welcome. As the Matron for the services in your area. I am very sorry to hear of your disappointment with the service you have received and would like to be able to help.

The allocation of services such as a community nurse or support worker is based upon an assessment of what a persons needs are at the time and what services are required to meet those needs. You state that you have been receiving services for the past 10 years which would lead me to assume your psychiatrist is familiar with you and has allocated the most appropriate services that work best to support your individual needs. It is not always beneficial to compare mental health diagnosis and expect the same treatments to work as the problems that they cause can vary greatly from one person to another. In relation feeling let down by the Crisis resolution & home treatment team this worries me, so if it is agreeable to you, I would like to offer you a meeting with me at your convenience to discuss your issues. I will arrange an individual meeting where we can sit down and discuss in more detail your concerns and how I can personally review and act on them to ensure we provide a high quality service that meets your needs and expectations.

Ian Mountain - Matron, St Helens Adult Services

If you would like a member of the PALS team to attend this meeting with you to support you, please let us know.

Katherine Earlam - PALS Officer, 01925 664450
