"Remembering my grandson"

My grandson died 3 years today while in Pontefract and the pain does not go away.

I hope the staff who I feel were responsible remember today, every day of the rest of their lives. I believe it was just covered up but the staff caring for him neglected him. If they could have taken the time to check his tube before they fed him they would have found it in the wrong place and they would not have flooded his lungs with milk.

I hope lessons were learned. If anyone finds themselves in the same situation as us, question everything staff do, we had alarm bells ringing on the sunday but we left it. If only I had questioned the nursing staff then we would have brought him home. I think everyone who was involved should be very ashamed.
