"Chest pain"

About: Russells Hall Hospital / Cardiology

I visited a & e in February with chest pain, after having ecg and blood test, I was told they didn't know what the problem was I would get an appointment to go back for a heart monitor, in the mean time I should go home and take some laxatives.

In March I had the heart monitor 2 and a half months later no results from that, I went back to a&e again with chest pain same tests done again, still no solution and I asked about monitor results they didn't know why I hadn't had a follow up appointment and said they would now discharge me, i told them i didnt want to be discharged till i knew what the problem was, another appointment for another monitor, when I took it back the nurse had a quick look said everything was fine but she would book me in for a heart scan I was told to take a chill pill and to get some exercise, it has now been 5 weeks since I had a heart scan and no results
