"Superb urgent treatment care"

About: Weymouth Community Hospital

I had dreadful pain with elbow bursitis whilst visiting my family in Weymouth. I was met with a friendly and efficient receptionist and advised of potential times of one our for treatment. I was through to triage in 5 minutes (super friendly nurse), discussed the issue at length with her and she also provided me with some much appreciated pain relief. I was then advised to wait in a pre-treatment area.

I was called in to see the doctor about 10 minutes later. He was friendly, discussed the issue at length and presented choices re treatment. I left about 20-25 mins after initial booking in with a full understanding of my problem and how it would be treated.

NHS and socialised healthcare at its very best. Thank you!
