(as a service user),

After a traumatic aborted colonoscopy at Good Hope at the start of the week I had to undergo a Virtual colonoscopy later on in the week. I was extremely anxious about the procedure after the horrific pain on earlier in the week. The reception ladies in X-ray Ct and MRI along with   The radiographers were wonderful, they went out of their way to reassure me and to explain everything.   I now have to wait for results but because of these wonderful people I feel at last I was dealt with by people who actually cared about me and who were prepared to spend time with me.   Well done and thank you to all in X-ray/CT/MRI.   A lot Could be learnt from how this particular department is run

I am so pleased to read that you felt supported throughout by the Imaging Department and well informed by our staff who do work very hard to ensure a positive patient experience regardless of how busy their workload is.

Just wish the actual colonoscopy in the treatment centre had been as good. I Was left extremely distressed and anxious which is why I am so grateful to the CT imaging department who dealt with me so wonderfully. I have previously had a colonoscopy at the treatment centre which I sailed through it was nothing like my last experience. I don’t think the sedation could have been anything like sufficient.
