I had a fall on the 9th August 2018. Was taken to Wythenshawe Hospital by Ambulance. The crew were very caring , and gentle. On arrival I was then taken to the emergency. Where my day started with being told that I had broken my hip , and would need a DHS operation the same day . I was petrified. The staff were so friendly and made me very comfortable. After my operation I was taken to wardA5 room 2 .where all the staff went out off their way to make me comfortable. They were very caring, I know I was not their ideal patient as I don’t do pain !!! So my road to recovery started. Both the day and night teams were marvellous, nothing was to much trouble. The Physiotherapists were also doing a grand job , helping me through my paces each day . Giving me support and lots of encouragement. I was in hospital for 5 nights , I would just like to say a very huge
Thank you to all the Doctors and all the Nurses for taking time to help me home . Also the ladies who made the hot drinks during the day, they to are very caring. Nothing seemed to be any trouble for them . Not forgetting their smiling faces , when the job they do must be very challenging at times . I cannot thank them enough. Thank you .
