"Referral"

About: Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital

My GP made an urgent referral for a scan.

This was agreed as the course of action by a consultant in A and E at Cramlington.

Regardless of twice confirming this fact in my four tedious hours there, I neither got to see any consultants nor got a scan at all.

Not surprisingly my GP was not impressed and we have had to refer to another hospital.
