, As a conscientious citizen visited MIU rather than A and E wth suspected fracture.
Was examined by Urgent Care Practioner and sent for X ray, Radiographer refused X Ray based on the fact I didn't wince in pain or have difficulty removing coat. Urgent
Care Practioner then, I felt, jumps on the band wagon and agrees with Radiographer who I felt was the stronger personality. We were told told to leave the MIU with no tests or treatment. After later MRI was diagnosed with fracture and other complications followed, including 5 days in HRI, and ongoing debilitating problems.
Approached the CHCP who made a few right noises to start with but I feel was unable and unwilling to provide me with their policies/guidelines/governance etc.
Im still asking the same questions with a repeat answer of we have processes but we are not telling you what they are, or its not our fault its your GP or the other answer I've had is we don't have processes. Ive pushed and pushed for answers but have been told they refuse to answer and they refuse to speak to me.
I have also been told that I am seeking attention by discussing my complaint with outside agencies It is absolutely my right to complain to these agencies in the hope they audit or investigate
