My 16 yr old daughter has been treated for severe conjunctivitis over the last 2 weeks but her condition had worsened with a swollen, painful and streaming eye, which was causing distress and alarm, so I took her into the minor injuries unit to see if there was any other problem or remedy.

Fortunately we could be seen straight away and her eye was thoroughly examined and her current condition was then explained to us in detail. She was given appropriate treatment in the hospital and medication to apply. She also received very clear advice and guidance. We very much appreciated the professionalism, understanding and reassurance we received at the unit today. Thank you
