Yet again my experience of Wexham Park was a positive one. I came in for my arranged gallbladder removal, having waited for the operation only a few months. Throughout my experience I encountered friendly, happy staff who were excellent in their care. At times on the ward you can tell staff are stressed and run thin on the ground. Their jobs are demanding and all consuming, however I never felt neglected and they always took time to help me, even when I could tell it was busy for them. My operation was complicated and so I had to stay overnight, my husband was kept well informed at all times and was able to stay with me when I needed someone. Staff treated me with dignity and respect and were cheerful in their work. Although no one wants to be in hospital, I have had nothing but positive experiences of the staff at Wexham Park. The ward was clean and freshly decorated, as have several wards I’ve been in over my various hospital visits. You can tell there is a big effort to modernise and make the hospital a nicer environment. Thank you.
