This review could be for so many things: the emergency treatment I received for hypertension in my 3rd trimester; the emergency birth of my baby (which was dealt with expertly); the faultless care my premature baby received in Buscot... but today my 5 star reveiw is for the care I received afterwards from the most proficient and kind staff I have come into contact with for many years. I had stuggled with community services for months but the moment I touched base with a consultant midwife at RBH I was treated with repsect and kindness. I had a reply within hours to enquiries I'd been making for months on end. Her approach was more than thorough, it was vigilent. She went out of her way to make sure I got the answers I needed post-partum and to know someone was willing to go to those great lengths to help me (and keep in touch throughout the process) is something I will never forget. Pregnancy is hard, birth is harder, and the 4th trimester and beyond is a time when support is so often needed but sometimes difficult to find. In RBH, I found my fairy godmother. If you're reading this, you know who you are and I can only hope you are surrounded by like-minded people, for you are an exceptional human being as the NHS is all the better for having you in it. Thank you.
