"They do an amazing job"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / Accident and emergency

I have had to visit the A&E dept 8 times in the last year for myself. Some times more life threatening then others. The staff here are working in extreme conditions, with limited resources as so many cuts etc etc. The last time i was brought in by ambulance with severe chest pains and shortness of breath, & possible blood clots to lungs. Due to my previous history of pulmonary embolism, it was highly likely. I was treated with upmost respect and dignity. Also as I’m high risk etc was seen very quickly. Everything was explained to me throughout all the tests etc and I felt like I was in safe hands. The staff made me feel at was and made me laugh and I thank them so much for that. That in itself it’s worth it’s weight it gold!

Thank you for taking the time to give your feedback on our Emergency Department. We’re really pleased you got the treatment you needed and that you felt like you were in safe hands during your stay in the department. Your comments mean a great deal to the entire team and I’ll ensure they are passed on.

Best wishes
