"Do not get paid enough"

About: York Hospital / Ophthalmology

I have a learning disability and was very frightened with the operation but with the support of the learning disability liaison nurse and the staff where very helpful. It made the experience going through it a lot more easier.

The staff really should be paid more.

I thank the York hospital for the care and understand.

Thank you so much for taking the time to post this comment online. It's great to hear that staff were living our Trust Values and putting you at the heart of their work.

Being in hospital is a scary time for everyone and to hear that staff made it a little easier is fantastic.

I'm afraid I can't make any promises about pay rises, but I will pass the comment on to the staff in Ophthalmology and I'm sure they will be really happy to read it.

I hope you are on the mend and that if you need to come back here again you have another positive experience. Best wishes to you.
