"MS service disappointing"

About: National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery - Queen Square

Unable to speak to anyone of the nursing team as Neurodirect has been unavailable for all of August, We are told it is due to nursing shortages however that information is unhelpful for patients; management need to fund the posts and retain their staff.

Consultants secretary is on leave, PALs has been closed this week.

Clinical letters take weeks to arrive and then contain inaccurate information e.g. Incorrect diagnosis. My experience only I appreciate, but I would not recommend this hospital & would advise PwMS to try any other London Centre if you can. Being under the umbrella of UCLH is probably not helping, I have a family member unfortunately under their care and administrative, IT, resourcing problems are rife and poorly managed. Millions go into this Trust but where is the leadership?
