"Diabetic support meeting"

I attended a Diabetic dietary meeting with my mum as she has been recently diagnosed as Diabetic type 2. The nurse we saw was so very helpful. She took her time, spoke to my mum about her diet and what would help her. She showed care and compassion to my mum as my mum explained that we had recently lost my dad, and this nurse was very supportive and understanding. She explained everything very well to my mum and gave her a booklet to read and said to call back should she need any further support. Overall i was very satisfied and it was so lovely to speak with someone that seem to actually care.
