"A good experience at West Lancs Health Centre"

After three nights of pain and not getting much sleep I decided to try my Doctor, it being a Bank Holiday I was given the out of hours number.

I then rang the number given and a very pleasant lady took my details and said a Doctor would be in touch very soon afterwards. The Doctor rang to discuss my symptoms then he told me on the information given it would be better if someone had a look at me.

After making an appointment I arrived at West Lancs Health centre and again I was greeted by a helpful reception(ist). Having been to a walk in centre before I had got it into my head I would be there for the rest of the day.

How wrong was I! The Doctor called out my name right on time and I was taken into the surgery to be examined by a very pleasant doctor who put me at ease straight away.

I was then given a prescription and left. I cannot praise you highly enough - well done West Lancs Health Centre. Then my problems began to find a Chemist that had my medicine in stock. This did not surprise me as we constantly have the same problem with my wife’s prescriptions it would seen that the suppliers are not up to speed. There are certain things in life you have to wait for - medicines should not be one of them!
