On a recent trip in an ambulance with my relative, which was organised by the doctor, a brand new Ford ambulance arrived to take us to hospital.
En route we thought the suspension had collapsed or had seized, but to my surprise the paramedic informed us that this was normal. The paramedic was also of the opinion that in future the newer ambulances are being purchased as a buy two get one free, and that that the ambulances are just vans with no design input from the on road staff.
I know things are bad with money and budgets, but at least listen to staff for they know what is best for patient transportation.
"Great staff , poor ambulance"
