"Rude and unhelpful"

Having terrible hives for a week and went to see the GP in the surgery. The GP was very rude, barely had any reaction about what I was saying. When I asked about allergy test on strawberries and wheat, he rejected instantly and refused to do any other test. I told him I just need to find out the trigger since this is the first time I had hives, he said there is no reason for the hives, it's just because of my body.

When I confront him that if he would offer any treatment besides the medicine they prescribed me a week ago which failed to work, he went for silence and just staring at the computer screen and typing.

After 5 minutes silence, he made a hand gestrue asked me to leave the room. When I asked again if he would do anything to help with my situation, he said he could not get the allergy test form and would need to discuss with another GP. After the wait, he came back to me and told me that it was too soon to have the allergy test, and told me that I just need to go back home and wait a month for the hvies to be gone or to get worse. Somehow his attitude was much better after I asked about his name.

Within the 4 years I was with the surgery, I have to say the service there is very disappointing. Some of the GPs there has no interest in the patients' problem and one of the GPs will flip pages from a little book every time he hears a new symptom, then ask you 'what do you want me to do?'. Some of the receptionists are very rude as if they hate the job and hate everybody walking in to the surgery.

Will not recommend the surgery to anybody. Avoid it!
