"The most helpful staff ever!"

Last Friday morning, I had to briefly visit Buckingham Hospital. I was driving through the local area on my way home from working all week in the Cambridgeshire area. When suddenly I became very ill, my son who was travelling with me (thankfully) managed to get me to the local community hospital, and ran in to the reception area to ask for help.

The receptionist on duty, (and I am so sorry we didn't manage to grab her name at the time) was the most friendly and helpful member of the hospital team ever! She was amazing, she lent my son her mobile phone so that he could dial 999 for an ambulance, she then checked on how I was in the car, and arranged much nearer parking so that the ambulance could get close by when it arrived. She offered blankets and pillows to make me more comfortable, and seemed genuinely concerned for my well being.

Lovely lady, whoever you are I hope you see this and remember this happening, because it is my way of saying a massive thank you, my son and I wish there were more people like you in this world, you truly were my guardian angel that day.

I made a full recovery over the weekend, and we got home eventually around 10pm that evening.
