19.08.2018 re admission 18.08.2018
I was admitted yesterday by ambulance for suspected heart attack after receiving fantastic care from Knutsford first response team and North West Ambulance paramedics, the quality of care and treatment continued.
The team involved in my care and treatment cannot be surpassed
Investigation treatment was all explained to me and my mum, the x-ray team came to me reduces risk of pain etc, was under constant observation and arrangements for further treatment at a specialist unit in another hospital was quickly arranged plus although under pressure due to industrial action the ambulance service were able to provide transport immediately
The two doctors involved in my treatment explained procedure all the way through including what was involved with surgery and recovery
My only regret is that I did not take any names of the team involved but hope that you could pass on my and my family's thanks especially my eight year old son
I am so glad that we have such a good hospital and staff in our area and am proud to recommend it to all I meet
From having my heart attack to having surgery at Manchester Royal Infirmary (MRI) and going round afterwards was five and a half hours
13.15 heart attack telephone call to emergency services who my mum says were great and very reassuring and calming
13.25 first responders
13.40 paramedics arrived
14.30 ish arrived at Macclesfield hospital A&E
16.30 ish transported to MRI, straight to Cath department and immediate surgery
18.45 able to contact family to tell them still alive and feeling so much better .
I am willing for this information to be shared with relevant agencies
