I was referred to Rheumatology at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary due to pains in most of my joints (among other symptoms). I prepared for the appointment by writing a list of my symptoms and took it with me, the Dr did not even look at the list I brought. I felt that they rushed through the appointment and were very dismissive. They insisted that I answered yes or no to questions that required elaboration. I was told I was hypermobile, and sent to Dr Gray's for an MRI, genetic telephone appointment and a cardiograph. I have been to these appointments and have never heard back from Rheumatology. My GPs have not been advised of my hypermobility but yet the Dr at Aberdeen referred me for physio for it, at physio I am only getting help with my back and feet as there are too many things wrong with me for physio to deal with. My problems have gotten worse since the appointment but no ongoing treatment other than the physio
"My appointments did not change anything"
