"Day Surgery"

My appointed visit to the Day Surgery began at 8am and I was soon taken through to the waiting area by a very welcoming student nurse. At the waiting area the usual paperwork and obs were carried out. Another nurse who could clearly see how nervous and terrified I was came and sat with me and reassured me. It wasn't long before I was taken through for my procedure, the lady Consultant was understanding, empathetic and down to earth. The whole atmosphere in the room was relaxed, professional, I was talked through each step and before I knew it the procedure was completed. The 3 ladies in the room definitely made me feel at ease and made the situation so much calmer and straightforward. So thank you very much. It was also lovely to be given a hot cup of tea afterwards!

So from start to finish all the staff I encountered were superb.
